On an afternoon sitting in his office chatting with his brother and wife, an idea, epiphany if you will, popped in to Steve's head, "What if we had a site where people could watch funny videos and also be ministered to?" Steve called Brian and in the August of 2007, JokesandJesus.com was born. In June of 2008, Dustan was added to the mix and has proved to be an invaluable assett. Through long brainstorming meetings and many hours of creating and editing www.jokesandjesus.com is now live.
The goal of J&J is that our videos are used for anything and everything including youth groups, pastoral sermons, or just for family entertainment. We believe in "Reaching the lost through laughter." Steve
"On a bright sunny morning in the month of May, a darling baby boy was born. His name is Steven...and I am that baby." Steve is a co-founder of Jokes&Jesus. He is a husband, a father, and is also a Youth Pastor in the southern Ohio area. God has blessed him with many things though his looks aren't one of them. Steve grew up in Ohio lived here there his entire life. Steve went to The Ohio State University for music education and is now planning to attend a technological school to get an associates degree in graphic design. Steve loves all things Apple. His iPhone and Macbook Pro are never more than 100 yards away. Steve loves to make people laugh and wants the world to know that followers of Christ can have a good time too. His favorite Bible verse is 2 Kings 2:23-24.
Brian Minor
Brian is the other Co-Founder of Jokes&Jesus. He is married to the most amazing and supportive wife. During the day he is a full time web developer for a company that forces him to use a PC, but uses his MacPro on all his many side jobs. He graduated from Miami University and resides in the (currently way too cold) state of Ohio. His hobbies include web developing/design (prefers php, but uses asp and .net), filming and editing videos and using his talents to help spread the word of God.
Dustan
Dustan is the first unpaid employee of Jokes and Jesus. He joined the team to help Brian and Steve with their vision. Since he was 14 he has been interested in multimedia/video/audio production. It 2007 he joined University of Cincinnati to get his degree in Electronic Media Technology. He has quite a bit of experience in the video industry and is using his abilities to help share Jesus to the world. He uses all of his God given talents to share Jesus to everyone. He is also a Apple guru!!!
